Anna Mikulska’s Biography
I am a cultural anthropologist and journalist by training. I cooperate with Gazeta Wyborcza daily and publish in Tygodnik Powszechny, OKO.Press, Holistic News, Krytyka Polityczna, Pismo Magazine, Non/Fiction magazine and travel magazines. Occasionally I do fotoreportages.
I write about migrations, human rights, global politics and responsible tourism.
In 2020, I won first place in the journalism competition "World between the lines" under the auspices of Pismo magazine for my report "Immigration through a sea of plastic". In 2018, together with Gabriela Zięcina, we received a nomination in the reportage competition at the Fragile Festival for our reportage "Nightclubs. Sometimes I ask them - and does your wife know you're here?".
