Crowd gathers to honor toddler after fatal hotel window fall

(Dakota News Now) - A large crowd gathered outside of the Sanford Children’s Hospital in Sioux Falls on Wednesday to honor Madden Hein, a Minnesota toddler who passed away after a three-story fall from a hotel window on April 13. According to a GoFundMe created to support Madden’s family, he passed away two days after the fall on April 15.

Brandon Golf Course closed "Indefinitely" Due to Flood

BRANDON, S.D. -Brandon’s 18-hole municipal golf course is closed indefinitely due to flood water. The course is currently under a feet of water. Staff say once the flood waters recede they will be able to assess the damage. People are asked to say clear of the area and not attempt to go on or near the course. At a loss for words. We will be closed indefinitely, please do not attempt to go on or near the golf course.
