Earlier in the season, Zenk etched his name into EvCC history by breaking the previous all-time record of 39 stolen bases and setting a new mark for future players to chase. Since then, the sophomore outfielder has shattered that record with 77 career stolen bases, establishing himself as one of the most dangerous runners in Northwest Athletic Conference (NWAC). The 20-year-old from Brier, Washington became a key player for the No. 1-seeded Trojans in the NWAC standings.

Nineteen years after taking over as the Everett Silvertips public address announcer, Greg Piland still has the same pregame goal. “I just pray and say, ‘I ask to sound just like dad,’” Piland said. The microphone once belonged to his father, David Piland, who served as the team’s original public address announcer before passing away from brain cancer in 2007.

After nearly 27 years with the Everett Police Department, Officer Danny Rabelos is preparing to take off the badge. “I’m at almost 26 and a half,” he said, reflecting on how close he is to that 27-year mark. For Rabelos, the number isn’t about rank or awards, it’s about the people he’s met and the lives he’s changed along the way. “I want to be different than my parents,” he said. Growing up, he saw things that people normally don’t have to deal with.
