Kingston, Jamaica May 3, 2026 (Issuewire.com)  - A new opinion poll has found that a third of Jamaicans want Jamaica to have its own king or queen who would live in Jamaica. The poll, part on an online Pollfish survey of 500 Jamaican adults aged 18 to 99 was carried out in March on behalf of Irish citizen Anthony McDonnell. The margin of error is plus or minus 4.35 per cent. In the first question of the survey, respondents were asked what form of government they wanted Jamaica to have.
