The Chicago Bears are loaded at a lot of positions on the roster going into the 2026 season, but one group might be a bit too crowded for anyone to have a shot at making it. Since the NFL Draft, there has not been a lot of debate about what was going to happen at tight end and who would make the team. Colston Loveland, Cole Kmet, and rookie Sam Roush feel like the clear-cut selections to make the 53-man roster at the end of August.

While there were plenty of complaints from the peanut gallery regarding the lack of attention to edge rusher, the Chicago Bears were not shy about adding defensive tackles to the team. The Bears signed three defensive tackles in free agency to help give the position some depth. They added Neville Gallimore, Kentavius Street, and James Lynch.
