Results Among 2603 surveyed healthcare workers, 667 (25.6%) reported levels of mental distress severe enough to meet diagnostic criteria for a mental disorder, but only 526 (20.3%) of respondents reported seeking mental health care (226 [43.0%] of these reported diagnostic levels of symptoms) (Table 1). Of providers who reported diagnostic levels of mental distress, 20.1% reported not needing care.

"This tension-filled memoir by a prisoner turned activist and artist may seem familiar after Jennifer Gonnerman's NBA-nominated Life on the Outside, but unlike Gonnerman, Papa describes excessive imprisonment under harsh drug laws with the grim certainty of firsthand experience. In 1984, he rashly agreed, for $500, to deliver a package containing four and a half ounces of cocaine for a gambling acquaintance. It turned out to be a sting, and Papa was convicted and sentenced to 15 years to life.

Abstract Objectives: Inclusion of Prolonged Grief Disorder (PGD) in the ICD-11 warrants examination of risk factors using diagnostic criteria as there is a paucity of research that has examined risk factors of PGD using the diagnostic criteria. This study examines if the identified risk factors for prolonged grief predict PGD using the diagnostic criteria across three samples.
