A new music-making video game that lets you save and export your music called Chunk DAW is currently in development. The brainchild of producer, engineer and graphic designer sila mack, it uses a Minecraft-styled modular grid system comprising sound-carrying blocks that you can load and loop next to each other to play a sequence. You can then play around with the mixing to adjust volume, BPM and make further modifications to the chunks.

Groove Armada’s 2001 hit ‘Superstylin’’ has been remixed by Demi Riquísimo. The London-based DJ and producer shared the official rework today (14th August), following months of heavy rotation in his sets at Pikes Ibiza, Gaffe, and Garbicz Festival. 'Canal View', the new EP from ZAINAB, is out now on Ninja Tune's Technicolour label.The six-track record is titled after the Lahore neighbourhood in which the Pakistan-born, New York-based artist born Zainab Anwar grew up, and fuses New York house with musical styles from across the Global South, South Asia and the Arab world. “It’s locally influenced, but globally oriented,” she said.
