OHIO — We're about to get a taste of summer today and tomorrow, as highs soar to near 90 and heat index values flirt with the triple digits. We should see a good deal of sunshine today, but we'll still have to keep an eye on the sky, as some storms could pop up across the area. Any storms that do form could bring the risk of damaging wind gusts. Temperatures will soar to the upper 80s and near 90 degrees for much of the state, with heat index values approaching the triple digits.

OHIO — After a dry stretch of weather, things are about to take a turn just in time for the weekend. A cold front will sag southward from the north and end our dry period of weather. Showers and possibly storms may make it into northwest Ohio late Friday, with better a better chance Saturday morning. More showers and storms will develop during the afternoon and evening, with temperatures warming and helping fuel the storms.
