India’s latest National Family Health Survey (NFHS-6) records gains in child nutrition, maternal care, institutional births and women’s internet use. But its preliminary fact sheet is also thinner than the last round, with 101 indicators compared with 131 in NFHS-5. Which indicators were removed from NFHS-6? Key indicators such as anaemia, mortality, sex ratio at birth, sanitation, and clean cooking fuel have been removed from the survey.

Awarded to Ohio Wesleyan seniors who have demonstrated exceptional leadership service during their years at the university and show promise to sustain that commitment throughout their lives may be considered for these awards. I was one of the eight recipients this year.

William R. Diem Award

2017 - Journalism

This award is for an outstanding graduating senior in Journalism. The student's contributions to journalism at Ohio Wesleyan University and journalism beyond campus, as well as that person's contributions to campus life is considered for the award. I was one of the two recipients this year.

Investigative Reporters and Editors Award

2018 - Fellowship

Chicago Tribune Diversity Fellowship One among six recipients. Established by the Philip L. Graham Fund to send a limited number of professional journalists to attend the annual CAR or IRE conferences. These fellowships are aimed at increasing the diversity of IRE's membership. Applicants for this award should identify themselves with one of the following minority groups: Black/African American, American Indian/Alaskan, Native American, Asian-American, Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander, Hispanic/Latino.
