CALDWELL - The Caldwell City Council voted 4-2 against a proposed development that would have brought hundreds of houses to the city. Meridian-based developer Providence Properties LLC proposed annexation of 159 acres into Caldwell to create the Adam's Ridge Subdivision, which would have included over 400 single-family houses, apartment units, a storage unit and stores.

CALDWELL - A Caldwell High School graduate picked up a Grammy award over the weekend as the band he plays with, The Infamous Stringdusters, was awarded a first-place tie for Best Bluegrass Album. Jeremy Garrett, a class of 1994 graduate of Caldwell High, was one of the founding members of the band that first played in 2007.
