Detectives from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department are seeking public assistance in locating 34-year-old Amy Edmonds, the office announced this week. According to the department's July 8 news release, Edmonds, who has medical and mental conditions that require medication, was last seen leaving the Coast Plaza Hospital in Norwalk, a town about 15 miles away from Los Angeles, on June 28 at 2:45 p.m. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a black backpack and a blue jacket.
