This study aims to investigate primary school teachers’ knowledge, attitudes, and perceptions regarding EE/ESD, as well as the factors influencing their implementation in the educational process.

Factors affecting environmental knowledge, attitudes and behaviour were also identified. Furthermore, the importance that teachers give to Environmental Education (Ε.Ε.) in their lessons was analyzed. This research involved the use of both quantitative and qualitative modes of inquiry.
