A highly accurate and low-cost mobile platform for multiple object temperature measurement in 3D coordinate positions is introduced. The key idea relies on not only a combination of a 3D optical depth sensor and the 2D infrared thermal imager but also a determined distant-dependent compensation model.

Abstract As fast human temperature screening is needed in large public areas, this paper proposes a low-cost mobile platform module that combines the advantages of analyzing visible and thermal images. In particular, the key idea relies on face detection in the visible image. Then the coordinates of all faces detected are mapped on to the thermal image to determine their corresponding temperatures.

Low antigenic expression of subgroup ABO blood system on red blood cell (RBC) is cause of discrepancy between forward and reverse blood typing in standard agglutination technique. Neutralization agglutination for detection of ABH substance in saliva is employed for verification. However, neutralization technique is complicated, time consuming and requires expertise. To overcome these drawbacks, surface plasmon resonance (SPR) imaging was developed for ABH antigens detection on RBCs and in saliva.
