The next Steam sale has officially arrived at its next stop, as the Steam Train Fest 2026 lands. This sale is focused on all sorts of content featuring locomotives, one of the best forms of transportation. As has become usual for Valve, we got a new trailer that showcases some of the many titles players will be able to take part in.

Every week, we check out all of the games on Steam that earned the most Followers. This gives us an idea about which sort of content players are anticipating, and what to look forward to, as this category is the only one that includes both out-now titles and upcoming ones. One thing that's worth noting is that we have a stance against AI-generation in gaming. Still, since this is a Steam top trending list, we are adding games that use the technology, purely to keep it transparent.

Every week, we check out all of the top released titles on Steam over the past week, which gives us an idea about which sorts of games are launching. We sort these by the user review score, favouring those with high reviews and ratings, and we use the SteamDB algorithm to rank them. During the time, we take a detour through the top-released demos.
