Poorly. Consumers have substituted social media as news. This has confused reporters on what their job is and people are also confused.

What does it mean to be a journalist?
Journalism is a service like most services. I am no better than a plumber or a carpenter. I need to do my job honestly and get paid for it.

Honestly and clearly. They also have to be stories not bits of information.
