By Ashley Neckel, Dec. 7, 2021 The men’s cross-country team ran past the finish line in 70-degree weather and 76% humidity at the NCAA Division II Championships in Saint Leo, Florida on Nov. 20. Though the 10K race was comprised of two four-kilometer laps and one two-kilometer lap on elevated terrain, the Broncos placed 30th out of 34 teams.

Men’s soccer scores first victory of CCAA tournament

By Ashley Neckel, Nov. 16, 2021 On Nov. 12, the CPP men’s soccer team dominated the CCAA semifinals game against the CSUSB Coyotes. Achieving a 2-1 score, the Broncos advanced to the CCAA finals against Cal State LA on Nov. 14 at the Jesse Owens field in Los Angeles. The Broncos started strong, as defender Garrett Jensen scored the first goal of the match only six minutes and 21 seconds into the first half.

By Ashley Neckel, Nov. 2, 2021 On Oct. 23 the CPP men’s and women’s cross-country teams dominated the track at the 2021 CCAA Championships in San Marcos, California. With the men’s team racing against eight teams and the women’s team competing against 10, both placed in the top five spots in the overall team category. Earning 83 collective points, the CPP men’s team placed second in the men’s overall team category.

How is social media changing news?

A lot more younger people are involved, and with a lot more perspective. We’re seeing live-action footage to a degree we’ve never seen before
