Shimla: Exposing simmering discontent within the ruling Congress in Himachal Pradesh, Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) vice president Neeraj Bharti resigned from his post, levelling a series of allegations against the state government. Bharti, son of state Agriculture minister Chander Kumar, accused the government of corruption, failing to fulfil key election promises and functioning in a manner marked by favouritism and political bias. His resignation was accepted by PCC president Vinay Kumar.
