______________________ The leaders of Kyankwanzi district say they have recovered over sh55m from district officials suspected to have misused funds meant for parishes under the Parish Development Model (PDM). This was revealed by the Kyankwanzi district Police commander, Frank Arinaitwe, during a meeting of stakeholders on Thursday (February 13). He said the majority of the suspects who were arrested were given Police bond.

_________________ Three members of the same family, including a three-year-old, have tragically died in a house fire in Mubende district. The fire broke out at around 2am on Tuesday, Police said. This happened in Kyambogo village, Kigogwa parish in Kalonga sub-county. Although the actual cause of the fire was not immediately established, a burning candle inside the house is believed to have been the source.

________________ KYANKWANZI Over 1200 people have been diagnosed with different eye diseases in Kyankwanzi District. This was during a five days medical camp that was carried out by doctors from a USA based organization, One Sight Foundation, at Butemba college secondary school in Bukwiri Town Council Kyankwanzi District.
