What was your first job as a journalist?

I worked at The Duquesne Duke, the student-run newspaper at Duquesne University, and was hired at the Beaver Count Times after graduation.

What tools and software do you use to do your job?

I most often use social media sites, data analysis and visualization software and video editing programs.

Why did you become a journalist?

I want to learn something new every day; meet new people and serve the community through my reporting.

Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?

Yes, it was more of a newsletter, but I was a copy editor.
