Kia recalls 427,000 Telluride crossovers over risk of rolling

WASHINGTON — Kia America is recalling about 427,000 Telluride vehicles in the U.S. over a potential defect that could cause those vehicles to roll away while in park. The recall covers 2020-24 Telluride large crossovers. The intermediate shaft and right front driveshaft on those vehicles might not be fully engaged because of "suspected improper assembly by the supplier," according to a recall report submitted Tuesday to NHTSA.
