Developed as a PoE-like, DreamEcho is an ARPG that places heavy emphasis on gear and broken synergies, tasking the player with creating a broken build to take on an endless dream world. The game's combat leaves much to be desired, as well as its automated translation, which makes creating builds difficult. While thematically brilliant, DreamEcho simply fails to engage on multiple fronts.

Mayhem is a bold new step for the Disgaea series, and even though someone like me greatly enjoys the occasional different genre spin-off, there simply isn't much to be seen here. The game places a lot of emphasis on the Magichange mechanic, but the reality is that it rarely comes up during actual gameplay, as most enemies are pushovers and don't really require you to put in any effort.

While the original Deep Rock Galactic is a somewhat chill mining simulator with light combat every now and then, Rogue Core is a mad dash against the clock that requires very tight teamwork and a solid understanding of the game’s basic mechanics.
