An incident involving fireworks left three people severely injured and a child hospitalized in Chino on the Fourth of July, authorities said. According to the Chino Police Department, officers responded to reports of a vehicle fire on the 5600 block of D Street at about 8:30 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found four victims who'd suffered injuries, including three adults severely injured. All four were rushed to a local hospital, including a child who was evaluated.

Aerial images showed the crowd around 10:20 p.m., where at least one person was seen being loaded into an ambulance with unknown injuries. A police skirmish line formed at one point, and attendees were instructed to return home. Social media videos showed a crowd allegedly looting a grocery store in the area.

2 killed after shooting in Hyde Park neighborhood of Los Angeles

A total of two people are dead and another was injured after a shooting in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Los Angeles on Friday night, according to police. The Los Angeles Police Department said the shooting was reported in the area of 59th Street and Crenshaw Boulevard at about 7:45 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found three victims. A man in his 40s was pronounced dead at the scene. Another, a man in his 60s, was transported to a local hospital, where he later died.
