When you come to a city, you quickly get a sense of its energy. Visiting San Francisco, you can feel the history in its old Victorians and radiating in its winding streets. When in New York, every borough, no matter how different, has a unique New Yorkness to it, Anthora cups and all. Even Portland quickly defines itself upon entry, with an energy I’d best describe as “uncomfortable, but working it.”
Then we have Seattle.
