Results After exclusions, we included 8 703 871 (96%) of 9 106 033 adults aged 18-65 years identified during the accrual period of 1 January 2008 to 31 March 2020 in our analytical cohort. Of these, 4 468 335 individuals (51%) who had at least two repeated eGFR measures and 746 948 (9%) who had an albumin to creatinine ratio measure within one year of index (fig 1).
