A Wine Honoring Family and Fathers To a father, from his sons I met Daniel and Georges Daou not long after they moved to Paso Robles, purchased property in the Adelaida District, and began planning to build a world-class winery. Our first few tastings took place in a double-wide trailer on their property while vineyards were being planted and construction of the Tasting Room atop Daou Mountain began.

Imagine Our Surprise When We Found the Ideal Place to Stay; Hell’s Kitchen; Heck Yeah!! I had stayed at the Romer Neighborhood Hotel in Waikiki and loved how the ambiance embraced the surrounding neighborhood, recreating true island cocktails, leis from an array of fresh flowers and foods adored by island locals. Although one Waikiki Romer focused on adults and the other families, they are both solid hotels with plenty of amenities.
