It is well established that allergen-specific IgG antibodies induced during allergen-specific immunotherapy (AIT) can block the IgE-mediated cascade of allergic inflammation.Although this role of IgG has been intensively studied, little is known about the epitope diversities of immunoglobulin subclasses induced during AIT. Thus far, analyses of IgG-binding patterns to major cow's milkand peanutallergens during oral AIT revealed discrepant results.
