1. Introduction Lynch syndrome (LS) is the most common inherited cancer predisposition syndrome caused by germline pathogenic variants (PV) in the DNA-mismatch repair (path_MMR) genes, MLH1, MSH2, MSH6, and PMS2, or by deletions in EPCAM [1,2]. Approximately 10–15% of early-age-onset colorectal cancer (CRC) is attributable to LS, which has a prevalence of 1 in 280 people in Australia, Canada, and USA populations [3].
