1 Introduction Dexketoprofen trometamol is the S(+)-enantiomer of ketoprofen, a propionic acid-derivative nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). Its analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and antipyretic effects are mediated by inhibiting cyclooxygenase-1 and cyclooxygenase-2, thereby suppressing prostaglandin synthesis.
