When a company undertakes an acquisition, tax leaders must manage an exceptional set of hurdles. 1 Introduction During total hip arthroplasty (THA), restoration of hip biomechanics is important to warrant a good functional result. In most cases, the goal is to restore the original distance between the pelvis and the greater trochanter, that is, the combined femoral and acetabular offset [1]. This can be achieved by reconstructing the original femoral and acetabular centre of rotation (COR). As such, the original leg length, muscle tension and abductor lever arm will be restituted.
