This means they have a portfolio of all market capitalisation companies - largecap, midcap and smallcap companies. Multicap funds are required to invest 25 per cent each in largecap, midcap, and smallcap stocks, as per SEBI rules, while the remaining 25 per cent can be invested as per the fund manager's decision.
