Biena Magbitang is an award-winning journalist from Philippines, with extensive experience in reporting on climate change, energy policies, and foreign relations in Southeast Asia. She currently serves as the Asia Regional Director for Climate Tracker, where she mentors journalists, reports on high-level summits, and moderates roundtable discussions. What was your first job as a journalist?

I started my career in journalism as a researcher for a documentary series.

Have you ever used a typewriter?

I still have my old typewriter. My grandfather actually gifted me with two.
