Sunny Thursday in Philadelphia region as heat wave begins. Here's the weather forecast.

Thursday will be a hot day with highs near 90 degrees; however, humidity levels (dew point temps) should stay very low (well below 60 degrees, so it won't feel quite as hot in the Philadelphia region. You won't be a dripping ball of sweat, unless you are exercising in the sunshine during the peak heating of the day, which we do not recommend. Have your sunglasses as well because it will be a sun-filled sky from rise to set.

Here we go, the warmup begins with highs in the mid-80s on Wednesday in the Philadelphia region. Shorts and T-shirts will be needed to stay comfortable as we move into the third day of the meteorological summer. NEXT big weather changes Expect our second heatwave of the season to begin on Thursday, with highs in the low 90s, and by Friday and Saturday, we'll be in the mid-90s. We're tracking our next rain chances for Sunday as a cold front approaches the area.

Seasonably warm Tuesday in Philadelphia region, temps heat up later this week. Here's the weather forecast.

A light jacket or sweatshirt will be the rule Tuesday morning in the Philadelphia region as temps will be in the upper 40s and low 50s. Not to worry, though, T-shirts and shorts are good for the afternoon as we push 80 degrees (normal high is 79). In addition, have your sunglasses with you AND be sure to wash the pollen off your car as we'll have several rain-free days to enjoy the clean automobile.
