We're looking at an active weather week with strong and severe storms possible every day. For tomorrow, a slight risk of severe storms exists across the area with an enhanced risk in northern Kentucky. Hot and very humid air is in place and that can fuel particularly strong storms with strong damaging winds as the primary threat. You'll need to Stay Weather Aware tomorrow late in the day and especially into the evening.

Our typical summer time weather continues into Wednesday. We'll be adding a bit more humidity and a weak upper level wave rotating in from the east will be enough to spark scattered t-storms in the afternoon. They'll be slow movers, so locally downpours are possible. The added clouds will keep our highs running in the mid 80s, which is still right about normal for early August.

The final month of meteorological summer has begun. Overall, we don't lose a lot of temperature just yet. However, we do lose over an hour of daylight this month, so the cool will follow. If you're keeping track, it's about 2 minutes loss per day now which increases to almost 2 and a half minutes per day by the end of the month. This first week of August will hover near normal with highs in the middle and upper 80s.
