Bill is a four-time Emmy Award winning multimedia journalist, the recipient of the Edward R. Murrow Award for Excellence in Writing, a five-time winner of first place honors from the Society of Professional Journalists, and the first place winner of the "Reporting on the Environment” award from the Society of Environmental Journalists. (Footnote: Bill’s chief competition for the SEJ prize was The CBS Evening News.) He works in all media -- television, film, print, online, podcasts, and radio.
