1 INTRODUCTION Lateral elbow tendinopathy (LET) is a musculoskeletal condition affecting approximately 20% of factory workers (Kurppa et al., 1991) and up to 40% of tennis players (Gruchow & Pelletier, 1979). LET causes lateral elbow pain during gripping (Taylor & Hannafin, 2012) limiting participation in recreational and occupational activities (Hopkins et al., 2016; Lee & Lee, 2016); necessitating accurate and timely assessment and diagnosis.
