We’re off to a mild start this Thursday morning with temperatures in the 60s and 70s, and the last few showers to the south are quickly pushing offshore. High pressure is building into the area, setting us up for beautiful weather today and for days to come. With the high centered off to our northwest, it will be breezy today, with afternoon gusts around 25 to 30 mph. Those winds are bringing in a flood of dry air, making for really comfortable weather today and Friday.

We’re tracking showers this Wednesday morning, moving through the area and lasting much of the morning. This is mainly beneficial rain, but we could see a few downpours or even an isolated thunderstorm. The better chance for thunderstorms stays mainly south of Philadelphia. Showers linger into the late morning and early afternoon hours, but many neighborhoods, especially Philadelphia north, could catch a break later this afternoon.

Areas of fog this morning will dissipate with clouds overhead breaking for some sunshine this morning, then turning partly cloudy later in the day. Expect things to be warmer today with a high of 82° for Philadelphia. The only chances of some showers today comes over Delaware and South Jersey with some scattered light rain possible this morning, then drying out this afternoon. Showers come through Wednesday morning. The skies will be mostly cloudy and it will be warm Wednesday with a high of 82°.
