“Decentralization” in Web3 is often seen as a badge or certificate that justifies that a system has no authority and gives users full control. But in reality, it’s about building systems that can’t be easily tampered with. A system where decisions aren’t made by a few, where transparency is built into the system to ensure users aren’t just participants, but part of the foundation. However, decentralization isn’t a single checkbox, quick fix, or perfect revolution.
