Knowledge, attitudes, and practices regarding Helicobacter pylori resistance among physicians: a multicenter cross-sectional study in Shanxi, China
Abstract This study aimed to explore physicians’ knowledge, attitudes, and practices (KAP) regarding Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) resistance to treatment in Shanxi Province, Central China. A multicenter, cross-sectional study was conducted from August to October 2024, enrolling physicians involved in the management of gastrointestinal disorders. A structured questionnaire was developed to collect demographic data and evaluate KAP scores.
Xanthogranulomatous prostatitis mimicking prostate carcinoma: a case report and comprehensive literature review
Abstract Introduction: Granulomatous prostatitis (GP) is a relatively uncommon disorder, accounting for approximately 0. 8% to 1.0% of all benign inflammatory prostatic conditions. Xanthogranulomatous prostatitis (XGP) is an exceptionally rare subtype of GP, with only a limited number of cases documented in the medical literature. Clinically and radiologically, this entity often mimics prostatic carcinoma, necessitating histopathological examination for an accurate diagnosis.
Disruption of the AR/ZNF217/PROM2 axis sensitizes prostate cancer to ferroptosis and enzalutamide therapy
Abstract Dysregulation of androgen receptor (AR) signaling is a key molecular driver of prostate cancer development and its transition to castration-resistant disease. Although emerging evidence indicates that AR may influence ferroptosis by modulating lipid peroxidation and antioxidant systems, the complete transcriptional network through which AR regulates ferroptosis remains incompletely defined.

One- and two-dimensional cluster states for topological phase simulation and measurement-based quantum computation
|
Abstract Quantum entanglement is a fundamental resource for quantum information processing and serves as a critical benchmark for quantum hardware performance. Cluster states are a special class of entangled states that serve as universal resources for measurement-based quantum computation and possess an intrinsic symmetry-protected topological order, which confers robustness against symmetry-respecting noise.

Force on a sphere suspended in flowing granulate
We investigate the force of flowing granular material on an obstacle. A sphere suspended in a discharging silo experiences both the weight of the overlaying layers and drag of the surrounding moving grains. In experiments with frictional hard glass beads, the force on the obstacle was practically flow-rate independent. In contrast, flow of nearly frictionless soft hydrogel spheres added drag to the gravitational force.

Elongated particles discharged with a conveyor belt in a two-dimensional silo
The flow of elliptical particles out of a two-dimensional silo when extracted with a conveyor belt is analyzed experimentally. The conveyor belt—placed directly below the silo outlet—reduces the flow rate, increases the size of the stagnant zone, and it has a very strong influence on the relative velocity fluctuations as they strongly increase everywhere in the silo with decreasing belt speed. In other words, instead of slower but smooth flow, flow reduction by belt leads to intermittent flow.

Ecosystem services relationship characteristics of the degraded alpine shrub meadow on the Qinghai‐Tibetan Plateau
The relationships of ESs in alpine shrub meadow The interactions among grassland provisioning and regulating services often give rise to conflicts and trade-offs, while the relationships among different regulating services tend to be synergistic. In the context of our study on alpine shrub meadow, we identified a trade-off between provisioning and regulating services, alongside a synergistic relationship among regulating services. Wu et al.
Particle size control of cathode components for high‐performance all‐solid‐state lithium-sulfur batteries
Abstract Understanding the size effect of each component on battery performance is essential for designing high-performance Li2S/S cathode for all-solid-state Li–S batteries. However, the size effects of different components are always coupled because ball-milling, an indispensable process to synthesize reversible cathode, simultaneously and uncontrollably reduces the particle size of all the components.
Ecosystem Service Relationships, Drivers, and Regulation Strategies in a Degraded Alpine Shrub Meadow on the Northeastern Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau
Abstract : One of the challenges of managing grasslands sustainably is the conflict between the different ecosystem services they provide. This is especially evident in the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau (QTP) region, where fragile alpine ecosystems make balancing the needs of grassland conservation and development difficult. However, our current understanding of the relationships and drivers of ecosystem services in degraded alpine shrub meadows on the QTP is insufficient.

Tuning Superinductors by Quantum Coherence Effects for Enhancing Quantum Computing
Abstract Research on spatially inhomogeneous weakly coupled superconductors has recently received a boost of interest because of the experimental observation of a dramatic enhancement of the kinetic inductance with relatively low losses. Here, we study the kinetic inductance and the quality factor of a strongly disordered, weakly coupled superconducting thin film. We employ a gauge-invariant random-phase approximation capable of describing collective excitations and other fluctuations.

A Unique Hierarchical Structure: NiCo2O4 Nanowire Decorated NiO Nanosheets as a Carbon-Free Cathode for Li-O2 Battery
A Unique Hierarchical Structure: NiCo2O4 Nanowire Decorated NiO Nanosheets as a Carbon-Free Cathode for Li–O2 Battery Abstract: The development of high-performance cathodes is critical to promoting the development of Li-O2 batteries. In this work, three-dimensional NiCo2O4 nanowire-decorated NiO nanosheets (NiO@NiCo2O4) on a Ni foam were fabricated by a two-step solvothermal process. The product exhibited efficient catalytic performance for Li-O2 batteries.
