Dozens of new Indiana laws are about to take effect on July 1st. Many of them will fly under the radar, but some will have a noticeable impact right away. One puts a statewide ban in place on camping on public property like city streets or parks, mostly targeting the homeless population. It would require police officers to make instant determinations of how to handle anyone breaking the law.

Governor Mike Braun addressed the issue during the Power Breakfast Thursday morning and discussed steps he's taken to make travel more affordable across the board.
