Bobby Lea’s Biography

Bobby is a lifelong endurance athlete and outdoor industry veteran. A three-time U.S. Olympian and former professional cyclist, he’s worked as both a Gear Editor and PR professional, testing and evaluating products across cycling, snow sports, and outdoor recreation.

He’s the co-founder of Kitli, a parent-driven platform focused on real-world gear testing for active kids and families. Based on a small farm in Pennsylvania, Bobby now tests gear the way most people actually use it—on family trail rides, backyard pump tracks, canal paths, and the occasional mountain bike race.

He continues to write and consult on outdoor gear, product storytelling, and athlete- and family-focused experiences.
