Characterization of vaginal microbiota diversity by 16S rRNA high-throughput sequencing
Abstract Introduction: This study employed high-throughput sequencing to analyze the diversity of vaginal microbiota in healthy women of reproductive age, thereby establishing a foundational dataset that may inform future forensic applications such as individual identification. Methods: A cohort of 100 healthy reproductive-age women meeting the inclusion criteria was enrolled.

Enhanced VIS-NIR Emission of Re4+ Doped Cs2ZrCl6 for Optical Thermometry and Near-Infrared Illumination Applications
Enhanced VIS-NIR Emission of Re4+ Doped Cs2ZrCl6 for Optical Thermometry and Near-Infrared Illumination Applications The luminescent properties of transition metal d3 ions have exhibited widespread application potential as optical thermometry, while the emissive characteristics of self-trapped excitons in lead-free metal halides have garnered significant attention in the field of optoelectronics.
Social connectedness and loneliness in school for autistic and allistic children
School is the main setting where most children experience social interactions outside the family circle. For a child to learn and practice social skills, these social interactions are crucial. But the nature of these interactions also relates to how socially connected a child feels at school (Allen et al., 2018; Craggs & Kelly, 2018).
School participation of autistic youths: The influence of youth, family and school factors
For school-aged youths, attending school provides them with the opportunity to participate in educational and social activities. School participation lays the foundation for knowledge acquisition, equipping youths with the skills required to attain financial self-sufficiency and lead independent lives in adulthood (Balfanz, 2016).
Dislocation generation in diamond under extreme loading
Diamond is, by virtue of its high bonding forces and Peierls-Nabarro barrier stresses, among the hardest materials on earth due to the difficulty of generating and moving dislocations. We demonstrate, using molecular dynamics and analytical calculations, that the generation of defects is dependent on loading orientation. Shock-loading single-crystal diamond along [001] and [011] to a stress of 137 GPa did not reveal dislocations, whereas loading along [111] generated profuse dislocations.

Mapping Research Trends and Hotspots in the Link between Alzheimer’s Disease and Gut Microbes over the Past Decade: A Bibliometric Analysis
4. Discussion Over the past decade, there has been an upsurge in research investigating the connection between gut microbiota and AD, underlining the evolving paradigm in biomedical research. Our study provides a comprehensive overview of this surge and identifies the most significant contributors in terms of countries, institutions, and journals.
Autologous pubovaginal sling for recurrent stress urinary incontinence after two or more failed synthetic midurethral sling
Abstract Objective To determine efficacy and safety of salvage autologous pubovaginal sling (PVS) placement after a two or more failed synthetic midurethral sling. Methods Women undergoing autologous PVS placement for two or more failed synthetic MUS between 2008 and 2019 were identified. Those patients were conducted a follow-up examination.
Anisotropic Mechano-Adaptive Cavitation in Elastomer for Unclonable Covert-Overt Anti-counterfeiting
Anisotropic Mechano-Adaptive Cavitation in Elastomer for Unclonable Covert–Overt Anti-counterfeiting Mechano-responsive structural coloration is especially valuable for information encryption due to the convenience of visualization and the simple authentication procedure. Here, a class of anisotropic photonic polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) elastomers are reported to change their transparency precisely in response to the directional mechanical stimuli.
Theory and method for large electric field intensity enhancement in the nanoantenna gap
Abstract We first investigate the field intensity in the nanoantenna gap as a function of common antenna properties including polarization, input resistance, and gain. This function provides us a method on how to effectively enhance the field intensity. In the case of polarization matched to the incident wave, the nanoantenna should have both large input resistance and high gain in the arrival direction.
Fatty acid-binding protein 4 predicts gestational hypertension and preeclampsia in women with gestational diabetes mellitus
The incidence of GH/PE was 6.44% and 3.30% for preeclampsia. The level of the second trimester plasma FABP4 in the GDM-GH/PE group was significantly higher than the GDM group (17.53±11.35 vs. 12.79±6.04 ng/ml, P = 0.020). The AUC ROC for the second trimester plasma FABP4 predicted GH/PE in the GDM patients alone was 0.647 (95%CI 0.529–0.766).
