Study links cattle feed efficiency to heat stress, grazing behavior
Rangeland cattle that inefficiently convert feed into body mass are more likely to struggle with heat stress than their efficient counterparts, research published recently in the Journal of Animal Science suggests. Never give yourself no time, got too many bills to pay......
A lot to get to on today's edition of my radio show The Closer. The 2-hour broadcast gets started at 1:00 PM Central Time. I'll weigh in on President Joe Biden going back on his word in accepting whatever legal judgment was levied against son Hunter by giving him a full pardon. Bentz introduces own version of Owyhee protection bill
SALEM — A bill that Rep. Cliff Bentz, R-Ore., introduced Nov. 1 would designate fewer Owyhee Canyonlands acres as wilderness compared to existing legislation. Sens. Ron Wyden and Jeff Merkley, both D-Ore., in late 2019 first introduced legislation that included buy-in from environmental groups as well as Malheur County ranchers and local leaders who sought to avoid a national monument designation. Merkley is co-sponsor of Wyden’s latest proposal, SB 1890, which was introduced in 2023.

I was born in a cross-fire hurricane.........
Slow news week, eh? After a rare and well deserved break last week, I am back in the Patriot bunker today for my radio show The Closer. The 2-hour blitz gets started at 1:00 PM Central Time. In the first hour, I'll weigh in on former President Donald Trump being convicted on 34 counts of "falsifying business records." As an unabashed Trump critic (and someone who has vowed to never vote for him for anything ever), I will even concede this conviction is a bridge too far.
Don't try to push your luck, just get out of my way.......
Another Sunday, yet another edition of my radio show The Closer will air today. The 2-hour broadcast gets started at 1:00 PM Central Time. In the first hour I'll discuss the latest Minnesota legislative session coming to a merciful conclusion as of 11:59 this evening. Look for the DFL to ram through as much draconian legislation in whatever time remains however.
They make you restless, it's nothin' you ain't seen before......

Nicole Mitchell.
I look far behind me to see where I went wrong..........
Happy Cinco de Mayo to those who celebrate! For me, I'll be in my usual time slot of 1-3 PM Central for today's installment of my radio show The Closer. At 2:30, NBA.com writer (and former beat writer for the Minnesota Timberwolves with the Minneapolis Star Tribune) Steve Aschburner will be on to talk T-Wolves news both on and off the court.
Whenever I'm wrong, just tell me the song and I'll sing it......
I'll be back in the Patriot bunker today for today's edition of my radio show The Closer. The 2-hour broadcast gets started at 1:00 PM Central Time. In the first hour I'll talk local issues, including the bizarre burglary (allegedly) committed by Sen. Nicole Mitchell (DFL-Woodbury) and how her public statement doesn't square with what she told police upon her arrest. Also, is downtown Minneapolis "vibrant" again?
And Sunday always comes too late......
I'll be back in the Patriot bunker today for my 2-hour radio show The Closer. We'll get started right at 1:00 PM Central Time. In the first hour, I'll weigh in on the latest in presidential politics and how both Joe Biden and Donald Trump have drawn the media's ire. Looking so hard for a cause, and it don't care what it is..........
It's Sunday! As such, I will be back in the Patriot bunker today for my 2-hour radio show The Closer. We'll get started at 1:00 PM Central Time. Right at 1:00, longtime friend of the broadcast Matt Mackowiak will join us from his location in Israel. Matt's hotel is approximately one mile away from where the Iranian drone and missile strikes occurred last evening.
And it's a teenage sadness everyone has got to taste......

In the first hour, I'll discuss how President Joe Biden has sold out Israel so as to attempt to lock in his far left kook base. On the local level, the DFL trifecta in St. Paul continues to bring forth absolutely insane policy proposals.
Don't want your money, don't want your key......
Yes, there will be an original broadcast of my radio show The Closer today. The 2-hour Easter broadcast gets started at 1:00 PM Central Time. In the first hour I'll weigh in on the gutless wonders at NBCUniversal, who caved in to their on air personalities' snit fit over the hiring of Ronna McDaniel as a network contributor. Abeler will be on to discuss recent legislation to provide clarification for School Resource Officers who were not present in schools over the past year-plus.
Ladies and gentlemen, I'd like to introduce the hi-hat......
Despite operating on one less hour of sleep than normal, I'll be rarin' to go at 1:00 PM Central Time for today's edition of my radio show The Closer. Say, does anyone remember how this year's Minnesota legislative session wasn't going to be as loony as 2023? Good times! Yeah, the DFL trifecta is looking to effectively gut the U.S. Constitution.
Give me what you can tonight, time is all we have to play........
It's the 20th anniversary weekend of the Northern Alliance Radio Network, so I'm hard pressed to think of a better way to celebrate than a live 2-hour broadcast. My radio show The Closer will get started at 1:00 PM Central Time. In the first hour, I'll weigh in on the Minnesota Legislature's continued attempts to ram through "gun control." Ilhan Omar's bizarre declaration about the U.S. government acquiescing to Somalia, etc.
I hold the microphone like a grudge.....

If we can get around it, I know that it's true...............

The 2-hour blitz gets started at 1:00 PM Central Time. In the first hour I'll weigh in on local issues, specifically a horrific shooting incident near Duluth which Gov. Tim Walz is already demagoguing. Also, Sen. Amy Klobuchar has yet to draw a GOP challenger for 2024. Is she really impossible to beat?
You ain't crazy, I ain't gonna lie anymore...........
My first radio broadcast of 2024 will take place today as The Closer will air from 1-3 PM Central Time. In the first hour, there will be a lotta gun talk. First off, Minnesota's new "red flag" law went into effect as of January 1. I'll also weigh in on the shooting at an Iowa school and why the normal demagoguery was short lived. And Wayne LaPierre resigns as CEO of the National Rifle Association. Then in the second hour, I'll discuss some of the latest happenings in the 2024 presidential race.
You consider me the young apprentice......
On Sunday, January 1, 2023, I conducted the first live broadcast of the year on AM 1280 The Patriot. With those holiday greetings and gay happy meetings.........
It's Christmas Eve, but we'll still have original programming on today's edition of my radio show The Closer. The 2-hour broadcast will get started in its usual 1:00 PM Central Time slot. In the first hour, I'll discuss the Colorado Supreme Court ruling that Donald Trump will not be on the state's 2024 presidential ballot. While Trump-kins are correct that this is a dubious ruling from a legal standpoint, they conveniently ignored Trump's unconstitutional instincts while he was President.
Lift me up, and move a bit closer.....
Another Sunday, which means another edition of my radio show The Closer. The 2-hour blitz gets started at 1:00 PM Central Time. In the first hour, I will discuss how Sen. Hey now, take it back, get off the attack................
I'm back in the Patriot bunker this afternoon for my 2-hour radio show The Closer. We'll get started at 1:00 PM Central Time. This past week I was traveling for work, so I had little time to pore over news or schedule guests for today's broadcast. So if nothing else, this show could be entertaining if not somewhat awkward.
Well how much more can we take with all of this corruption.......

Then the years went rolling by, I grew up and moved away.....
Welcome to November! Given it's "fall back," hopefully you're nice and rested for today's 2-hour edition of my radio show The Closer. The broadcast will get started at 1:00 PM Central Time. In the first hour I'll discuss the "nothing to see here" attitude the Biden administration has taken on in the face of a rise in anti-Semitism.
