HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) - Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected Thursday and Friday across the Tennessee Valley. The most widespread rain is likely to occur late Thursday afternoon and into the evening hours. The threat of severe weather and flash flooding remains low across North Alabama, with the heaviest rainfall expected east of I-65 into Northeast Alabama. Gusty winds will be noticeable Thursday, with wind gusts reaching 30 mph or higher at times.

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) - Storms may arrive early Sunday with gusty outflow winds around 30–40 mph (like Friday morning), but severe weather isn’t expected. Rain chances dip late morning, then afternoon storms redevelop mainly along/east of I-65 ahead of a cold front—some could be strong with gusty winds, frequent lightning, and heavy downpours. Most storms should clear out by about 4 PM. Monday turns cooler, mostly cloudy, and less humid; a few showers Tuesday, mainly south.

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) - We expect a cooler night ahead with lows around 52. Breezy with a few clouds Wednesday with highs in the upper 50s. The wind will be gusty at 20-25mph at times. Overall good travel weather for the Thanksgiving holiday Wednesday through early Saturday. We will be trending cooler day by day with morning low back to freezing Friday morning. Highs Thursday and Friday will barely break 50 but the sun will be out. Rain chances increase overnight Saturday into Sunday morning.
