Bradley Allf is a postdoctoral scholar in the Department of Applied Ecology at North Carolina State University. Bradley is also an award-winning science communicator whose work has appeared in Scientific American, Discover, Atlas Obscura, Smithsonian, and many other outlets. His work often relates to the shifting landscape at the intersection of the human and natural worlds. His stories often make a unique impact; his coverage of an inland cetacean burial ground, for instance, inspired a very serious petition to change the name of a minor league soccer team to "The Dead Whales."
