Brett Tryon is a freelance journalist whose diverse interests are reflected in her writing. She has written about climate, wildlife, sustainable living, food, health, beauty, home decor, and parenting. Her work has been published by Asparagus Magazine, Broadview, Chatelaine, Spacing, Today’s Parent, Toronto Life, and others.
Brett is rooted in the environmental sector. She has a diploma in ecosystem management from Fleming College, and she spent almost a decade banding and tracking migratory birds in Canada and the U.S. Before launching her freelance writing career, she spent seven years managing the Blue Flag program, a national certification for sustainably managed beaches and marinas. Brett’s passion for nature and sustainability is evident in her writing.
Brett lives in Toronto, Ontario, with her husband Mike and two daughters.
