BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — Former LSU Tiger Mansoor Delane learned his new NFL home early in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft on Thursday night: Kansas City. The Chiefs traded up from the ninth to the sixth overall pick to draft Delane before other teams. Delane is just the fourth LSU defensive back in program history to be voted a Unanimous First Team All-American. He was also the first defensive back selected in this year’s draft.
