Unofficial results have been announced for last Tuesday's June 2 primaries. The Republican primary for Governor was essentially a two-man race between Zach Lahn and Randy Feenstra. Lahn captured 38% of the vote, or 80,338 votes, to Feenstra's 37.2%, or 78,713 votes. Adam Steen received 14.5% of the vote, followed by Brad Sherman at 6.9% and Eddie Andrews with 3.4%.

Moville Days 2026 "Ready, Set, Summer" will run for three days this weekend -- Thursday, June 4 through Sunday, June 7. Last week, The Record received an update on an eagle’s nest that has been photographed for years by Pam Clark of The Record, along with Brian Jensen of Moville and his identical twin brother, Brent Jensen of Lawton. Brian’s wife Brenda Jensen said that when they went to check on the nest last week, they discovered the nest had been blown to the ground and found a single eaglet sitting injured in the grass. “Realizing the eaglet was wounded and unsafe, they immediately contacted authorities.
