🏚️ Detroit’s helping hand for homes

Good morning, Detroit’s $7 million home repair programs are reopening next month. Low-income residents will have a chance to receive free necessary home repairs for issues like roofs, lead removal, heating and cooling, plumbing and accessibility needs. In March, during a two-week period, over 9,000 residents submitted online applications. Between that first round and the upcoming round, the city hopes to help 350 households with repairs.
