Arguably, one of the biggest questions people had when Alex Golesh was hired as Auburn’s new football coach this past offseason was whether or not he could recruit against the big boys of the SEC like Kirby Smart, Steve Sarkisian and Lane Kiffin. Auburn and Alex Golesh have stayed hot on the recruiting trail on Monday, adding the commitment of 4-star offensive lineman Reed Ramsier. “Auburn has literally been in pursuit of me since the first week Coach Hoodie and Coach Golesh got there,” Ramsier told Rivals. “I knew both of them from where they were before, so we just had a little catching up to do.” It was another major victory for Golesh and his staff, beating out SEC rival Texas for Ramsier.
