As soon as next week, Exit 17 on Interstate 91 northbound in Meriden will be no more. As part of the overhaul of the I-91, I-691 and Route 15 interchange, the exit to Route 15 northbound is set to permanently close on July 16, unless weather results in a delay, according to the state Department of Transportation. As Exit 17 closes, exiting northbound I-91 traffic will shift to a new alignment at Exit 16.
